Weathersfield Certified Organics Limited is currently seeking further franchisees throughout New Zealand in both their Seedlings and Greens businesses.

Weathersfield Certified Organic Seedlings

We are a BioGro certified grower (certification number 5068) of herb and vegetable seedlings, our plants being sold to organic retailers, garden centres and through farmer's markets.
The Weathersfield Certified Organics  brand is protected by a registered trademark.
We currently have 5 franchise nurseries up and growing, mainly supplying the areas including North Auckland to Te Hana, North Shore City and Waitakere City, with 3 more in the set up stage.
All franchisees have specific territories in which to sell their products.
Our franchises offer people living on small lifestyle blocks the opportunity to work from home and by doing this, earn an income sufficient to support a family and pay the bills.
The first nursery set up here at Kaukapakapa, North of Auckland is on track to reach a turnover in excess of $130,000 this financial year.
This nursery uses a flatish area of land of less than 500 square metres.
Our greatest market strengths are our brand and the quality of our plants. Our motto is if we wouldn't buy it, we won't sell it.

Weathersfield Certified Organic Greens

We have discovered there is a huge unfilled demand for a constant year-round supply of top quality certified organic greens (lettuce, spinach etc.) at a guaranteed price - this aids both the grower and the retailer.
Weathersfield Organic Greens, a division of Weathersfield Certified Organics Limited is the pioneer in this field.
THIS IS NOT A HYDROPONIC SYSTEM
As per our seedling franchises (we currently have 5 franchisees successfully growing and 3 more setting up) we are looking to set up each franchisee with a BioGro certified organic indoor growing system . Under BioGro, you would be a sub-licensee of Weathersfield Organic Greens and would be covered by our certification number.
Each franchisee will be given a fixed area of supply, together with in many instances, an agreement to take a certain number of lettuces to fill the fixed orders of the larger retail groups.
Approximately 400 square meters of relatively level land and 3 days per week is all that is required for an income in the region of $50k PA.
