Russian Red Tomato – Heirloom

Height 1.5 m x 50 cm

Plant in rich moist soil in full sun. Plants can be buried up to their first pair of true leaves to encourage greater root growth. Regular watering is vital, but don’t let the plants sit in water.

If grown under cover, you can encourage pollination and fruit set by tapping the stem from time to time. Needs staking. Pinch laterals, mulch and protect from wind.

Very prolific cropper with sweet mid-size tomato with good tomato flavour.
