Harvest baby leaves in 21 days; full maturity in 50 days.

Plant in rich moist soil part shade in summer, full sun for rest of year. Keeping soil moist allows plants to grow continuously. Water lightly but consistently. Vertical leaves develop into a loosehead; they start green and fade to reddish-purple.

Uses – Classic Caesar salad ingredient
