pisum sativum – Annual
Height 1.8 m x 60 cm

Plant in sunny well-drained soil composted from a previous crop. Peas prefer cool weather. Needs support to climb. Add nitrogen to the soil. Add spent vines directly to soil or compost. Makes good mulch. Heavy cropper, resistant to powdery mildew.  Keeps well when picked.

ship on a Thursday to local in Nelson. We have overnight and two day
